Are there any plans for an upgrade script (like the one from 1.1 to 1.2) to upgrade the version to 1.3, or do we need to open up the RS-97 to flash the new image?

I looked around this board and the forum on Dingooinity and was unable to find an answer to this question, so I thought I'd post it here. Is there any "official" place to request apps be added to the new firmware. A Video player (such as MPlayer for dingux) would be awesome, but I have not seen anyone mention that as of yet. If someone could point me in the right direction that would be great. Still waiting for my RS-97 in the mail, and can't wait to use it!
