There’s definitely a difference with the screens

I’m getting screen flicker on the new Retrogame300 on fba a320 games and on some nes ones in the pause menu. What’s strange is that it only happens with my black one as I have a grey one and it doesn’t do it? I’ve swapped sd cards around and the black one still flickers. Is the firmware written to the pcb or just on the sd card as it would suggest a faulty unit if the firmware is only written to sd
