I've installed the new operating system onto a new micro SD card, but I cant work out how to copy the original ROMs from the SD card that came with the system. It doesn't show up when I put it in my PC, so I cant copy it to there to transfer over to the new one, and I've tried to do it on the rs-97 itself, but the card doesn't show up anything when I look at the external SD card with the original put into the cartridge.
I haven't got any other ROMs to put on the new set up, so I've had to put the old card back in to play games.
Please help, I need an idiots guide to get me through!
Thats correct my friend any problems just let me know thanks.
So put the old sd card back in the console so its as it was when purchased, connect the lead, hold B, power it on and the PC should see it so I can copy the games over to a folder, then swap the sd card back to my new one, and repeat but then copy the games from the it PC to the console.
Thanks, I'll give it a go tomorrow.
For some reason, when I tried to do it direct with the sd card in the PC, it would bong when I put it in, but it didn't show up anywhere, so I couldn't access it.
You should have backed up the original games via usb in windows first before you installed the new v1.2 firmware. power the device off and then hold down button b whilst powering on and plugging in the usb cable untill you hear the connect sound. Copy over your games from the folders.
